My name is Danielle Maca and it seems like I’ve been dancing my whole life. I began dancing when I was three and by age six was doing the competition circuit. As far back as I can remember dance has been my greatest source of joy. I have had the opportunity to learn from great people like Gary “Gee” Kendall, an original Jabowakee, and my Hip-Hop teacher during my teen years. He taught me about different styles of Hip-Hop and introduced me to the San Francisco Hip-Hop Dancefest. I have worked under the direction of Danny Wallace, former member of TapDogs and current judge at NYC Dance Alliance. One of my most memorable times in my dance life was when our Jazz Company traveled to Jeju, South Korea to represent Santa Rosa at their annual Fire Festival. After graduating high school, I thought I would give it a shot in L.A. I attended auditions there, but quickly decided that it was not for me. I later moved to San Francisco and fell in love. I met my amazing husband. We got married and now have a Beauty~Full daughter. I intend to keep growing as a dancer and pray that my body allows me many years to KEEP ON DANCING!
